Review

To begin, this book was sent to me in exchange for an honest review.

This book is a collection of short stories from Mike Russell. I didn’t really know what to expect from this one when I was contacted about it, but it was a really interesting read. The biggest piece of advice I can give to someone who wants to read this book is to go into it with an open mind. These short stories will challenge the way you think and will twist and turn in ways that you won’t expect.

I hadn’t ever really read anything like this before, I’ve never really been interested in surrealism and things that were weird just for the sake of being weird, but I found myself making my way through the stories quickly and enjoying myself thoroughly. Having a collection of short stories was a refreshing break from the longer books I usually read, and while they didn’t all hit the way I wanted them to, there are a few really great gems included here.

It’s hard to describe the kind of mind bending stories you will be met with in this collection. I just want to say that I can definitely recommend this collection for anyone that wants to read some interesting stories that will challenge you to think in new ways. I know this won’t be one that a lot of us have heard of, but Mike Russell really is a talented author who deserves a bit more recognition for his work here!

As always, thanks so much for reading. I really enjoyed this opportunity I was given to review this book and I am happy I got to experience these stories that I would likely not have stumbled across on my own. 1. Great review! Actually, I’m glad for this review because I really have no idea about Mike Russell’s books but I was sent by his publisher his book titled Magic, I am currently enjoying it, so I was wondering if his other works are good as well. I’m definitely going to check this one too. Don’t you think his writing is really meaningful?
